Cotton Short Top - The combination of deep teal base, tiny beige–rust floral butis and fine contrast stitching gives a refined, traditional-yet-smart look—easy to pair with beige, cream, rust, black or denim bottoms for office or everyday wear.
Main Print / Motifs: All-over small floral Buti pattern. Each Buti is a compact, stylised flower. The butis resemble traditional hand-block prints and have a slightly almond/leaf outline around them.
Layout & Direction of the Print: The motifs are placed in a regular grid, aligned both horizontally and vertically. Spacing between motifs is even, creating neat diagonal rows of butis across the entire top. The pattern is dense enough to cover the surface but still allows the teal background to show between each motif.
Neckline & Placket Detailing: Wide round neckline, softly scooped and not very deep. From the centre front of the neckline falls a short stitched placket (no separate fabric panel). Made using three narrow rows of light contrast stitching running vertically. The stitching outlines a slim rectangular placket shape, ending just above the bust, giving the effect of delicate pintucks or embroidery without breaking the print.
Sleeves: Elbow-length / short 3⁄4 sleeves, straight cut. The same small floral buta pattern continues over the sleeves. At the sleeve hem there is a subtle border of horizontal contrast stitches, echoing the placket detailing and framing the sleeve edge.
