Cotton Short Top - The combination of cream base with teal and wine floral butis gives a subtle, elegant, and slightly traditional look—easy for everyday wear and office wear with jeans, leggings or straight pants in teal, maroon, beige or denim.
Main Print / Motif: All-over floral buti print. The motifs have simple, hand-drawn outlines, similar to traditional block printing.
Layout & Direction of the Print: Butis are arranged in neat vertical and horizontal rows, forming a regular grid. All motifs are upright, facing the same direction. Spacing between the butis is even, so you see repeated, evenly spaced floral units across the entire front, back and sleeves. The cream background shows between the motifs, so the overall effect is light and uncluttered rather than very dense.
Neckline & Placket Area: Mandarin / band collar with a front V-slit. From the slit, a short front placket in the same printed fabric runs down to the bust. The placket is embellished with a line of small dark buttons, which stand out crisply against the cream and echo the vertical alignment of the print.
Sleeves: Elbow-length / short 3⁄4 sleeves, straight cut. The same floral Buta grid continues on the sleeves in the same scale and direction. A tiny tab-and-button detail on the sleeve adds a shirt-style touch while using the same print.
