Lower body print: From the bust down, the gown is covered in a repeating geometric block print. The design forms vertical columns of small base colour and white motifs.
Yoke: The upper front has a broad rectangular yoke that runs from shoulder to shoulder and ends in a straight line just under the bust. Inside this yoke, the print changes to narrow vertical stripes of intricate motifs.
Seam & border detailing: A slim light border (or piping) runs horizontally where the yoke meets the lower body, clearly separating the two prints. The round neckline and V-slit are neatly finished to match the yoke stripes, keeping the focus on the upper torso.
Sleeve design: The sleeves use the same striped yoke print rather than the body print, so they visually connect with the upper panel. At the sleeve hem there is a coordinated border band, echoing the yoke’s vertical stripe motifs turned horizontally, giving a crisp finished edge.
Overall design effect: The gown uses a double-print concept within one colour family. Geometric column jaal on the lower part, Intricate vertical stripe motifs on the yoke and sleeves. The vertical orientation of both prints and the dual teal–white palette make the look fresh, elongated and flattering, with a subtle Indo-western feel.
