A - line Gown - Floral Vine Jaal print - Maroon - 550A18

This gown features a relaxed straight–A line gown with short, loose sleeves and a rounded neckline with a short front placket.

All-over body print: The entire body and sleeves are covered in a dense floral-vine jaal. The vines run upward and intertwine, giving a slightly “forest” or jungle feel rather than neat rows. As the print is close and continuous, it visually slims the body and gives a very traditional, hand-block–style look.

Yoke: The upper front has a broad rectangular yoke panel that stretches from shoulder to shoulder and falls to just above the bust. This yoke switches to a different pattern: fine paisleys, flowers and curving, arranged more horizontally and compactly. The change of base colour makes the yoke stand out clearly from the rest of the gown.

Placket & detailing: Down the centre of the yoke is a short, buttoned placket. Small round wooden buttons are placed vertically, each sitting amidst the printed vines, adding a kurta-like feel. Sleeve hems also appear to have a small matching border, tying the neckline and sleeves together.

Overall design effect: The gown uses a double-print concept: The contrast in colour and scale draws attention to the face and upper body while the darker, dense print on the lower portion feels elongating and flattering.
