Bodice & sleeves (upper part) The entire bodice and sleeves are in the same small buti print all-over. There are tiny diamond motifs arranged in neat diagonal rows over the base which gives a fine textured and delicate look. The wrap seam across the bust and the neckline are outlined with subtle piping/stitching that follows the angarkha shape.
Waistline & paneling: A narrow horizontal seam just under the bust marks the empire waist. From this seam down, the skirt is divided into panels: A central front panel with a bold floral print. Side panels that continue the small diamond buti print from the bodice.
Skirt / lower body print: The Centre panel features vertically arranged medium-sized florals. Flowers and leaves are linked by soft creepers, creating vertical stripes of florals that draw the eye lengthwise.
Side panels: Repeat the tiny pink-and-white diamond buti on the blue base, echoing the top and framing the floral centre panel. The mix of ditsy side panels with a bolder floral centre makes the lower half look slender yet decorative.
Overall effect: The gown combines two coordinated prints. Small geometric buti for bodice, sleeves and side panels. Soft vertical floral stripes in the centre skirt. The empire waist, vertical floral panel and cool blue-mauve palette create a slimming, elongated silhouette with a feminine, lounge-wear friendly ethnic feel.
